Emily Perry

Emily Perry, Executive Director

Emily holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology from Hanover College. Emily is also a licensed social worker. She has extensive experience in the field of child welfare and child protection with previous positions held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Portland, Oregon; and Shelbyville, Indiana. Emily continued her training with the Indianapolis Institute for Families as a Clinical Associate in the Child Abuse Treatment Program. She also held the Director of Special Programs and Director of Development positions while with the Institute. Emily has successfully completed Finding Words Indiana and is trained in Child Forensic Interviewing.

Emily spearheaded the development and implementation of Susie’s Place in Hendricks County, Indiana. She has dedicated her career to the protection of children and the creation of effective intervention programs to minimize the long-term effects of child abuse and neglect.
