Prevention Education and Outreach Program Coordinator

Amanda Yarde is the Education and Outreach Program Coordinator, working directly with schools and various organizations teaching the Darkness to Light Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention curriculum for youth-serving adults, and the body safety curriculum geared toward children Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University. She spent many years as a missionary overseas and a bi-vocational worship pastor here in the states. Outside of ministry, Amanda has many years of experience in the human services field, specifically working with individuals with disabilities.

She has worked as a direct care provider, an educational mentor, an Employment Consultant, and has directed two different grant-funded programs geared toward job readiness and placement for the individuals she served. The past three years she has taken time outside of the workforce to homeschool her two sons.

Amanda enjoys spending time with her boys and her Goldendoodle, Winnie, writing, singing and playing music.
