Growing to meet the demands in Monroe and surrounding counties
Our Bloomington Center served 513 kids and families in 2023. Since opening in 2012, Bloomington now routinely sees multiple cases each day.
Susie’s Place needs your help to raise $100,000 to cover design, build-out, and construction costs.
Additional funds over $100,000 will help us cover lease, equipment, and technology costs.

Demand for services at Susie’s Place is growing, and to meet the needs of kids and families in our community, we’re expanding our Bloomington Center with:
Comfortable space
More space for families to gather, wait, and decompress with improved privacy and security.
Clothing closet
A spacious clothing closet for kids to pick out new coats, shoes, clothes, and school supplies.
New interview room
A new, third forensic interview room means we can provide multiple interviews simultaneously.
On-site medical
An expansive on-site medical suite will provide professional medical evaluations at no-cost to families.
You can help kids go from hurting to healing
You can reserve a small — or large — piece of Susie’s Place to remind everyone who visits you and their community stand with them.

Only donations can make this project happen
Nearly everything we do at Susie’s Place is provided at no cost to families. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations and public and private grants. But none of our public grants cover construction costs like this.
