More ways to support Susie’s Place
1. Drop off supplies
Easel paper, DVD-Rs, DVD sleeves, tissues, gently used or new toys, printer paper, hand sanitizer, toiletries, unworn clothes, and backpacks with school supplies are always welcome at Susie’s Place.
We’d love to receive any of these items, though monetary donations are our greatest need and grant us the most flexibility.
2. Volunteer
While much of our work is deeply personal and technical in nature, we’re always looking for help with items like maintenance, education and outreach, data entry, special events, mailing, and landscaping.
We consider applicants for all volunteer positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital or veteran status, the presence of a non-job related medical condition or handicap, or any other legally protected status. A background check will be conducted.
3. Be a snack supporter
Snacks provide immeasurable comfort to the teams and families during their time at Susie’s Place. You can sign up to cover a month’s worth of snacks for the Susie’s Place Center of your choosing.
Snack Sponsors will receive a recognition post on Susie’s Place social media, as well as name recognition in the Susie’s Place team rooms the month they sponsor.
4. Impact Days
Impact days are single day events that anyone, even children, may attend while the center is closed. These days typically involve deep cleaning the center, maintenance, preparing thank you cards, and pre-packaging snacks with a positive message inside.
