Susie’s Place is proud to introduce Heather Eberth-Teike, our co-located mental health provider. Heather, a longtime service provider at the Indiana Center for Children and Families now maintains an office at our Avon location providing therapy services to some of the children that come through our center.

Must Love Dogs

Coming soon to a CAC near you: therapy dogs! We are welcoming a new partnership with Love on a Leash canine therapy program to host therapy dogs in our centers during the week to provide their calming, loving presence to the children and families that visit our centers.

2015 Masquerade Mayhem: A Success

The party was in full swing on October 3, 2015, at the Country Club of Indianapolis. Susie’s Place held their 5th Annual Masquerade Mayhem that night including a silent auction, live auction, dessert dash sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Avon and entertainment by 176 Keys – Fun Pianos.

Law Enforcement, the Department of Child Services, advocates and many others fight for the well-being of these children. “If I’m not successful, if my officers are not successful then that child may be put back in that environment or maybe continue to be abused,” said Sgt. Jeff Hearon with Indiana State Police.
