Prevention Education Program Coordinator
Madelynn Cooper is the Prevention Education Program Coordinator for Susie’s Place Child Advocacy Centers. Madelynn works alongside Candace Balzano in the production and coordination of programs that serve adults and youth. These programs include the Darkness to Light Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention program for youth-serving adults, and the MBF Child Safety Matters body safety program geared towards children in Kindergarten through 12th grade, in which Madelynn is an Authorized Facilitator of both programs.
Madelynn holds a Bachelors of Science in Justice Studies and Women and Gender Studies from Arizona State University and holds a special interest in history, and international justice advocacy.
Outside of work Madelynn enjoys spending time with her husband and son, watching way too many documentaries, reading, and spending time in nature. She also loves hosting dinners, and as a former barista loves to share conversations over a good cup of coffee or tea.
